I’m trying my hardest not to make light of a serious matter so soon after the world is finding out — I really am, but come on… when Charlie Sheen claims to have kept his HIV secret in order to preserve his artistic integrity how can anyone not burst into tears of laughter?
I mean true, Hot Shots was a cinematic tour de force and sure, Two and a half Men pre-Sheen looking like an anorexic meth-head was amusing when nothing else was on – but beyond that what is there?
Let’s be real here; he hid the truth so he could carry on with his debauchery unchecked and cowardly hide from the world nodding in unison as if to say “serves you right bud”.
