Batman: Arkham Knight PC game review

If you’re like me and have a kid who loved the first few Arkham games but don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on the console version you may be considering (as I did) grabbing a PC version.

As soon as I picked up my copy, after having bought it already the clerk at the store warned me that the game has been known to be laggy on PC. Nice. He was right. After taking a few hours to install the 5 disc game it was noticeably glitchy.

After playing it for a few hours I asked my son about where the game ranks among the Batman Arkham games. His response was “The Batmobile is cool but it’s hard to control”. Not exactly a glowing review.

It very well could be that the console version is infinity times better, but at this point, if you’re on the fence about the PC version I would deem it a must-have game.

World Class Dick-head is the Charleston shooter

21 is the new 15… the age of thinking you know what the world is about when your only exposure to the outside world is what you’ve read on message boards.

I often take the stance that it is generally foolish in this age to whine about racism, but for this idiot to blame race for opening fire proves that “stupid” has no bounds. It’s as if he wanted to stand in front of the world and announce “I am more ignorant, uneducated and unintelligent than you are!” To his credit, Dylann Roof did what was necessary to prove his stupidity to the entire world.

While the event is extremely tragic for the victims, a small part of me giggles to think that he will have a fun tine getting passed around from one black inmate to another when he’s on the inside.

Mike Patton gives Axl Rose a shitty deal

In 2014 Mike Patton supposedly de-throned Axl Rose as the greatest singer ever… at that point in time I had never heard a single song from Faith No More, so as a Guns N’ Roses die-hard I was outraged. Even more so than when my beloved favourite singer somehow devolved into this:

Now it has come out that Mike Patton also pulled a few pranks on Axl like peeing on his cue cards and taking a crap in his juice. This was a huge shock, I mean… Axl Rose was so skinny that I have a hard time believing he drank fruit juice.

Anyway… Having not read Patton’s biography (and I have no intentions of doing so) I’m going to speculate that this took place in ’92 when Faith No More opened for the Guns/Metallica show. I don’t have a difficult time believing that Axl antagonized Patton to this point seeing as Axl also managed to antagonize everyone else on that tour from Metallica members, to his own band mates, everyone in the city of Montreal and even Nirvana who turned the gig down.

But from the sounds of it Mike Patton had a pension for pee and shit related pranks having also admitted to putting poo in a hair dryer, and pissing on stage. And this was before the days of bath salts.

Miley Cyrus is Gay… oh myyy

Right, so Miley was interviewed in a “paper” while posing nude with her pet pig and made the following brilliant statement:

I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn’t involve an animal and everyone is of age. Everything that’s legal, I’m down with.

Don’t get me started on her usage of the word “literally”… the fact that she seems to think that animals have the ability to consent, or at least that they need to be singled out in a discussion involving consent is evidence enough for me that she is not among the world’s leading thinkers.

But what was also noticed is that she seemingly has a very broad pallet when it comes to sexual preferences (which may explain some of the guys sh’s dated). But if you’ve ever heard her speak she has a very growly, deep, dare I say “manly” voice, so this should not come as too much of a surprise to anyone.
